Hello @ll,

1. excuse my bad english please - I hope u will understand what I mean?!

I would like to know what taktik u play in MTT's?
I think, everybody knows this scenario:

U have a mid-nice hand like :
suited A
K-9 unsuited
anything else u'ld like to play ...

The Tourney just begins and (just like always) so. goes ALLIN PREFLOP ...

What do u do?

Do u try to stay in the tourney?
Do u go the risk?

What do u do?

If u answer please explaine ur argument ...

Greetings

voatanas

I love the challenge - that's why i like to play MTT

Too early and risky at the start of the tournament.  If you are playing a freeroll and don't care about making the money fine, or if you are playing a small buy-in that you don't care about fine.  I would stick to playing good hands and position rather than these rags(mediocre hands).  Remember it is one thing to push with K 9 off - doesn't mean that hand is worth calling an all-in.

ciao for now

Definitely not the time to play these kinds of hands unless you don't care about your buyin. I might play a pair of 10,s or better or AK on the first hand all in in a freeroll or low buyin but that is about it.

The hand you describe i would'nt play as i would'nt want to be foolish and get out of the tournament, but if i have a monster like AA i would play for sure.

OEPS! I'm your huckleberry, thats JUST my game! five hundred.. must be a......peache of a hand....

Tight at the beginning, and then loosen up later on, and throw K9 away :)
