PokerInside Looking For You to Help

Hey guys,

Yes, PokerInside is looking for your help in making our website a better place, while we are aware of some bugs / errors / update needed we would like you (if you want of course) to help us make a list of everything that need our attention. For example it could be a banner not working properly, a sentence that need to be changed etc.

So if you are interested simply post what you got and try to be as much precise as you can so it easier for our programming team to make adjustement if needed.

I will personally update the list on regular basis.

PS: I know some people have posted in other threads some suggestions & ideas it would be appreciated if you can ''re-post'' them in here so we have them all at the same place.

• Which really needs to take care about is the banners (two of them) for fantasy poker, maybe the banners can say fantasy poker but the amount to play for can be removed. I think it is important to show there is a fantasy poker challenge going on. (As it is now, they are saying different kinds of numbers as Spyfus has been saying.)

• Next thing is the blog challenge, it is saying july (promotion spot and what is hot spot). Maybe get rid of what kind of month, otherwise I think it looks ok.

Allways keep the menu on top of everything. Like on this page you can bring your rate about this topic.

If you want to see the menu promaotions or poker rooms its comes behind the rate button.

This is on the most pages of the site.

can you take a screen shot?

Think this is a problem only if you have and old system.  What happens is the drop down menu's - get hidden behind some of the banners.  ie the menus for promotions, poker rooms and support get hidden by rate this articles and the poker sponsorships banners.  Like I said not a PI issue but rather user side.  For those that have the problem simply click menu button and go from there.

one porblem i found when helping a few of my mates set up there insidepoker account is that when you sign up and input a password it allows it in setting up the account . but when you try sign in it says that the password was wrong so the only think to do is to use the forgot password option then let the sit send you one and that passpord will work

Thanks for the newsletter guys. It's a start, now if it could be a little more informative, ie: what's the plan for Septembers Team challenge, list the winners of the Players, Gamblers, the refferal, the blog, have a poll on whatever. Also I was wondering why it says the SNG's  jackpots are worth $245,000, I just had a quick look and it adds up to less than $200,000? I'd also hope to see a "Profile of the Month", you know, get one of the "Top Players" at PI to tell us about how they did it?

 Let's make this newsletter more "newsy" and less like a brochure.

And here's my "idea of the week", how's about a "Bounty Tournament"?  Once a month PI could set-up either a low buy-in or use one of the FR's and make it a Bounty tournament. Have a progressive bounty sort of like what they do at Hollywood, but use top PI players instead of "Stars"? That might help with "sit-outs" if you use the FR's.

My next thing is something I've noticed over the summer and have talked openly with other PI members during the FR's, what's with all the rudeness at the tables? How does PI verify ages of the players, because what comes out of the mouths at the tables now a days is disgusting (I'm used to the Friday nite crowd of drunks, but this is all hous, daily now). Or are players now going to Mike Matisow's or Tony G's school of poker? Last weekend and this weeks Gambler were full of these types, if they don't win it's either you're a donk, a muppet, a chaser, or other things I can't print in this forum. Here's an example, I'm in the BB on a .25-.50 nl table with 4 players, everybody calls me, I check with 5,10 H, flops hits 10, H,H, the guy next to me raises 3x's the BB, next folds, next calls and I call, turn is a H, i check bud next raises pot, next folds, I call (you never know if there will be a 4th H) river blanks, so I push he calls with 2 pair and I'm the donk, and for the next hour I listen to him bitch (while I take the rest of his chips).

 As I said to a guy last nite during the Gambler's, there's a difference between being a fish and fishing with good cards (at the time I had 9,9 he had K3 suited, he hit's his K on the flop, but I got my 9 too, so he pushes I call, he loses and I'm a...well I can't repeat).

 So from now on I'll be (and others) taking screen shots of these rude players and posting them in the forum and sending it to BetMost. (this WILL INCLUDE THE PLAYERS WHO REFUSED TO SPEAK ENGLISH!!! I've seen as of late Russian and Chinesse script being used at the tables, if you want to use you own language, fine get msn messenger and use it there!!!). We will also be following up to make sure BetMost does do something!!!

Sorry Jan, I use PI from 3 computers, and the only one I get that problem is with the one running Win98, so I assumed you were using something old.

I can't put a screenshot on here. then i see only a cross.

I dont think its an old system im running.

I have windows XP with internet explorer 7. so i think that couldn't be the problem.

Am i the only one with this problem??????

Odd that no one else seems to have yours/my problem.  Curious if on the home page do all the drop down menus go behind the Summer Cash Dash banner as well?

try to download mozilla firefox and see if there is same problem. I was a little sceptical in the beginning for using firefox. After downloading firefox and use it only for PI I started slowly to use it to other sites, and now I am running only firefox.

I disagree, i experience the same problem and i have Vista Premium so....

That was going to be my next suggestion as I use that on one of the other computers I use and everything works fine (of course I'm not running 98 or XP though) hope it works for you.
