I see that rabbitbgirl is giving up.  That's too bad.  Her posts were good. i'M doing a piece now that will be similar to her last one.

Today we are going to talk about the ART OF BLUFFING.  Get ready for the big words because I have to quote this part.  I don't know how else to say all this.  Smile

QUOTE

"Bluffing in Poker is a simple matter of mathematics (I never even thought of it this wayFrown) coupled with an elementary understanding of how to read TELLS (opponents hands).  Let's say for example there is a $50 pot and you bet $5 to try and steal the pot when you basically have no chance of winning.  (I have tried this) This will give you 10-1 on your money.  As a result, you need a 10-1 chance of winning the pot.  Even if you are unsucessful on the tenth attempt, you will need an eleventh to break even."

So, your bluffing attempts only need to be successful part of the time in order for you to show a profit.Surprised

Look out guys.  You'll never know what the heck I'm doing now !!  Good info!
